Beyond the building blocks of DNA itself, genetic science has improved our ability to tackle the broader domains of human health, including immunology, cancer, neuroscience, chronic illnesses, and much more. The advent of gene editing technologies and personalized genomics has encouraged tJmely discussions between scientists, clinicians, and stakeholders in public health policy and bioethics.
Issue 8.2 is therefore intended to explore advances in basic and clinical genetic science, as well as the inherent barriers to progress in a dynamic and rapidly-growing feld. The submission deadline of our Fall 2018 issue is September 1st, 2018. High quality writing will be recognized with an honorarium award.
